Thomas “Tom” McMahon, 73, of Ellendale, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. Tom was born February 22, 1938 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of John and Ella (Jensen) McMahon. The scurs have made themselves scarce after failing to scrape up much for rainfall this past week. Will they be able to come out of hiding soon? CAPTAIN’S LOG: The Captain made her golfing debut for the year as we tackled the Meadows at Mystic Lake in 100-degree heat Monday. It was hot. The Captain, first mate and big brother decided to tackle the Meadows layout. The good news is, because of the heat, the cost was discounted and there was no one on the course.
