Gretta Jean Lageson, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 27th at the home of her daughter in Owasso OK. Gretta was the daughter of Loren and Betty Waage. She graduated from Ellendale High school in 1958. She married Eugene Lageson June 17th, 1961 in Ellendale where they farmed hogs, gardened and raised their four children. Gretta spent her life devoted to her faith. She led many people to the Lord and will be remembered for her witness to Jesus. She regularly attended church at Our Father’s House in Albert Lea Minnesota. She is survived by her son Kent Lageson (Connie), daughter Kimberly Eckstein (Paul), daughter Kelly Katsis (Steve) and daughter Kolette Sawyer (Tom). Gretta is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren including Erik, Megan, Quinlynn, Alexa,  Roxie, Nycolle (Robert), Lyric, Kristian, Brittany (Donnie), Olivia , Kagan, Donald, Nicholas, Arthur, Mickey, Steven, Ahnah, Mariah, Kolbe, Kolten, Jaden, Christian, Brock, Dane, Jesiah, Justice and Elijah. She is survived by her sisters Linda Wagner, Mary Busho and Cynthia Crabtree (Chuck), brother Dale Waage (Janie), and sister-in-law Judy Waage, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors who were a part of her life. She was proceeded in death by her husband Eugene, parents Loren and Betty Waage, brothers Mike Waage and Curtis Waage, brother-in-laws Danny Wagner and Vern Busho. A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday June 3rd at Our Father’s House, 18358 US-69 Albert Lea Minnesota, 56007. Visitation is at 1:00 pm with a service at 2:00, followed by a reception.

Plants can be sent to Our Father’s House or monetary donations made in her name to Our Father’s House.
