Following her graduation, she would move with her family out to California. She would continue to move throughout her life, to places like Oregon and Texas, before coming home to New Richland in 1994, where she has been a member of the community ever since. Audrey married Neles Backman, and the couple later divorced. On February 19, 1960, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Jensen in Fort Worth, TX.  The couple eventually parted ways.

Audrey worked many places throughout her life. Some highlights include working at Hallmark in Oregon, Woolworth’s Store in Oregon, and Montey’s Department Store in Texas. Aside from work, Audrey was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She always participated in Ladies Aid in many different churches. She enjoyed bowling in her early years, doing photography, and watching her favorite TV shows.

She is preceded in death by her parents; twin daughters at birth, Sharla Jane and Carla Ann; a brother, Eldred Sybilrud; and a niece, Linda Boren.
