Ruth Helen Rosenau, age 85, of Waldorf, MN, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Mapleton Community Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf, MN, with Rev. Michael Mathews officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at First Lutheran Cemetery in Waldorf, MN. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home is assisting the family. Ruth Helen was born June 3, 1931, in Waseca, MN, the daughter of Edward and Eva (Ogilvie) Rosenau. She was baptized August 19, 1931 in Blue Earth, MN, and confirmed June 18, 1944 at First Lutheran in Waldorf, MN. Ruth graduated from Waldorf Consolidated High School, and went on to attend Mankato State College, Methodist-Kahler School of nursing in Rochester, MN, and St. Joseph’s School of Practical Nursing in Mankato. Ruth worked as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Waldorf, MN.
Ruth is survived by her brother, Russel Rosenau of Waldorf, MN; sister, Grace Hansen of New Richland, MN; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and niece Kathy Kahue.
