Bernard Quentin “Barney” Bach, age 75, of Waldorf, MN died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his home. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waldorf, MN, with Fr. Michael Cronin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at St. Joseph Community Cemetery in Waldorf, MN. Bernard was born February 19, 1941, in Blue Earth County, the son of Quentin and Martha “Honey” (Sonnek) Bach. Barney was a lifetime resident and local farmer in the Waldorf area. He graduated from Waldorf High School. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Fitzpatrick on October 19, 1963 in Brownsville, MN. He was a school bus driver for the Waldorf Pemberton School District for many years. Barney enjoyed morning coffee hour with his friends, gardening, hunting, fishing, and helping anyone in need.

Barney is survived his children: Anthony “Tony” Bach of Mankato, MN, and Lisbeth (Tim) Kormann of New Richland, MN; grandchildren, Dustin (Kayla) Bach of Derry, NH, Kayla Bach of Cambridge, MN, Madison and Cassie Kormann of New Richland, MN; sisters: RoseMary Valentas of Houson, TX, Theresa (Dan) Bartholomew of Waller, TX, Kathleen (Cleve) Clinton of Houston, TX, and Margaret “Peggy” (Jim) Kirkpatrick of Sapulpa, OK; two brothers-in-law: James (Karen) Fitzpatrick of Mahtomedi, MN, David (Kathy) Fitzpatrick of Brownsville, MN; sister-in-law: Pat Fitzpatrick of New Albin, IA; as well as nieces and nephews and their families.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, his parents, and his brothers-in-law, Howard Fitzpatrick, and Albert Valentas.
