Memorial services for Beulah M. Jensen were held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Ellendale. Pastor Mark Henry officiated. Burial was in First Lutheran Cemetery.
Beulah M. Jensen passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at the New Richland Care Center. She was 97 years old.
Beulah was born August 1, 1918 to Henry and Hilda (Hansen) Reese in Steele County. On October 11, 1940 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Jensen. They made their home in Ellendale and raised a family. Beulah enjoyed Circle and Ladies Aid at church. She loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Audrey Kitzer of Gulf Shores, AL, Linda (Joe) Kahnke of Owatonna, Larry (Terry) Jensen of Ellendale; grandchildren, Jeff (Amy) Kitzer of Ellendale, Jena (Mark) Pietari of Brooklyn Park, Nate Jensen of Ellendale, Nicole Kahnke of Prior Lake, Chad Kahnke of Owatonna; six great-grandchildren, Alexi Kitzer, Jace Kahnke, Levin Kitzer, Boden Kitzer, Sofia Pietari, and Sam Pietari.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; infant daughter, Jon Allan Jensen; four sisters, Calesta Hoy, Mildred Nelson, Orlanda Peterson, Gwendolyn Svenby; brothers, Harold, Roger, and Roland Reese.
