The NRHEG boys' basketball team has kept it close in more than one game this season.

Friday, Jan. 6 at Maple River was not one of them.

The Panthers, playing the first game of a boy-girl doubleheader at Mapleton, came home with a 74-37 loss, leaving them still seeking their first won of the 2022-23 season.

Statistics for the Panthrs: Daxter

Lee 19 points, 3 rebounds; Will Tuttle 6 points, 7 rebounds; Jackson Chrz 4 points, 3 rebounds; Alden Dobberstein 4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists; Sam Olson 2 points; Lukas Loverink 2 points.

Hayden Neibuhr of Maple River led all scorers with 33 points.

The Panthers faced Medford Tuesday, Jan. 10. They travel to WEM Friday, Jan. 13. They host USC Tuesday, Jan. 17 and play Friday, Jan. 20 at Randolph.
