Funeral services for James “Jim” E. Bushlack of New Richland, MN, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the All Saints Catholic Church in New Richland, MN. Father Adam McMillan will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Friedrich Funeral Home in New Richland and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Richland.

James died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Albert Lea Good Samaritan Center. He was 79 years of age.

Jim was born July 21, 1935 in Faribault County the son of Joseph and Clara (Dulas) Bushlack.  He served his country in the US Army from 1955 thru 1957. On May 5, 1959 he was united in marriage to Lois L. Schulz at St Casmir Catholic Church in Wells, MN.

Jim had been employed at Con Agra in Wells, MN, and Peavey Grain in New Richland for over 40 years. His specialty was Waxy Corn Marketing. He was an active member of the All Saints Catholic Church in New Richland and a member of the American Legion Post in Waseca, MN.

Jim loved fishing, wood working projects, summers at the cabin in Cross Lake and wintering in Mesa AZ for over 14 years.

Jim is survived by his wife Lois of New Richland, MN, children Doug and his wife Mary Bushlack of New Richland, MN, Lori and her husband Rodney Born of Waseca, MN, daughter-in-law Laurie Bushlack of Shakopee, MN, grandchildren Eli Bushlack, Jessica (Adam) Hollerich, Christy Jo Born, Brie Bushlack and Brevin Bushlack, and great granddaughter Isabel Hollerich. Also surviving are brothers Mark Bushlack of Longmont, CO, LuVerne Bushlack of Rochester, MN, and sister Jane Stenzel of Wells, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Mike Bushlack, grandson Jake Bushlack, sister Collette Bushlack, brothers Eugene and Ray Bushlack, brother-in-law David Stenzel and special friend of the family Tim Voigt.

Memorials preferred to the All Saints Catholic Church.
