It’s time for homecoming week at NRHEG High School.
Candidates for queen and king, announced last week, are as follows:
• Anna Bailey, daughter of Steve and Mary Bailey
• Abby Christopherson, daughter of Doug Christopherson and Karla Christopherson
• Jessica Nafe, daughter of Terry and Karen Nafe
• Taylar Tieskotter, daughter of Jason Tieskotter and Dana Wayne• Abby Wacholz, daughter of Lane and Sarah Wacholz
• Michael Altermatt, son of Dan and Linda Altermatt
• John Cole, son of Bob and Lori Cole
• Zeke Erickson, son of James Erickson and Nikki Erickson
• Palmer Peterson, son of Tom and Tammy Peterson
• Dempsey Tucker, son of Mitch and Shannon Martin
Coronation is set for Monday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium in New Richland.
The following dress-up days are scheduled for school:
• Monday — ‘Merica Day (show American spirit by wearing red white and blue)
• Tuesday — Travel Tuesday (each grade will be assigned a travel destination)
• Wednesday — Walt Disney/Fairy Tale Day (secondary only) and Pajama/Comfy Clothes Day (elementary only)
• Thursday — Totally Twisted Thursday (mismatched, crazy clothing day)
• Friday — Panther Pride Day
Homecoming parades are Friday afternoon in Ellendale and New Richland.
The Panther football team faces LeSueur-Henderson at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 in the homecoming game in New Richland.
