 Lucille Nechanicky of Owatonna died March 29, 2017 at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. Mass of Christian Burial with Reverend John Sauer presiding is set for Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna. Interment will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery at Litomysl.  Friends may greet the family on Monday from 4–7 p.m. at the Brick – Meger Funeral Home (1603 Austin Road, Owatonna) and one hour before the time of the funeral liturgy on Tuesday. There will be a 3:45 p.m. Parish Rosary at the funeral home on Monday. 

Lucille was born August 14, 1925 in Owatonna the daughter of Ervin and Andrea (Jacobsen) Linse, then later adopted by Harlan Buelow. Lucille graduated from Owatonna High School in 1945. On May 5, 1947 Lucille was united in marriage to John Nechanicky at Hyacinth Catholic Church in Owatonna. They remained married for 69 years.

Margaret Ann Chicos, age 88, of New Richland died peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017, at the New Richland Care Center.

Visitation was held from to 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church in New Richland and will continue for one hour prior to the Mass at church on Thursday. A Memorial Mass will be held four days later, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment will take place on a later date in Calvary Cemetery in New Richland.

Arrangements are being handled by the Starkson & Steffel Funeral and Cremation Services - McRaith Chapel of Waseca.

David T. Miller, age 59, of Hugo, USAF Retired Master Sargent, passed away on March 23.

Dave graduated from Ellendale-Geneva High School in 1976. He then entered the United States Air Force serving 26 years.  

He was preceded in death by father, Thomas. He is survived by wife, Tammy Glaser; mother, Sharon; daughter, Sharon Sonmez; son, Steve; grandson, Erem David Sonmez; step daughters, Amanda (Matt) Oehrlein, Megan Glaser (Chad); step grandchildren, Caid, Nevy, Cameron, Janice; brothers, Dennis (Jackie), Jeff (Lori), Jim (Jodie); and many other relatives and friends.

Interment will be at 10:15 a.m. Monday, April 3, at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, assembly area #3. Luncheon following at the Hugo American Legion, 5383 140th St N, Hugo.

Alfie was born October 26, 1947 in Owatonna the son of Alfred and Elaine (Jensen) Wondra.

He attended High School in Blooming Prairie graduating in 1965. After high school Alfie worked road construction for his father's company Wondra Construction and he also farmed at that same time. He worked until the early eighties when due to health concerns was unable to continue. He was an avid collector of vintage cars, farm equipment, motorcycles and heavy equipment. He enjoyed cruising around the county. He will be remembered for his many visits with family and friends. Alfie taught his nieces and nephew how to maintain their tractors and lawn mowers. He was always grateful to his personal care attendants over the years.

Nashette, Marshall "Jack", passed away on March 20, 2017, at home, Chesterfield, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Nashette, brother-in-law, Dom Caldwell, father-law Ferris Peterson and mother-in-law Eleanor Peterson. He is survived by his wife Judi (Peterson), 51 years, sons, Jackie (Lisa) and Richard; two grandchildren Megan and Aaron Colyer.

Also by his sisters, Mary Helen (Dan) Rau, Lisa Caldwell, and many loving and devoted nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
