Shirley A. Thompson, age 81 of Faribault, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.
Memorial services will be held at Hope United Methodist Church, Faribault on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Dr. Dana Houck officiating. Interment will be at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
A memorial visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the services on Friday.
Shirley A., the daughter of Thomas and Iris (Shorey) Thompson, was born December 16, 1935 in Steele County. She was previously employed as an L.P.N. at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, Saint Louis Park for many years. Shirley loved to travel throughout the world.
She is survived by two sisters, Judith Thompson and Betty Lageson, both of Faribault and a brother, Dick Thompson of Albert Lea and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in law, Gerald Lageson and a sister in law, Janice Thompson.
