Arlen A. “Buster” Sandretzky, age 56 of Waseca, died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waseca.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 31 at 4 p.m. at the Woodville Cemetery in Waseca, with Rev. Donn Kittle, officiating. McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca is handling arrangements. 

Arlen Arthur was born on December 31, 1954 in Waseca, MN to Leonard and Martha (Lechner) Sandretzky. He was a 1974 graduate of New Richland High School. Buster went on to attend vocational school in Albert Lea and Austin.

He lived his entire life in Waseca County. After high school, Buster began working as a custodian for the New Richland High School, then for 10 years with Waseca Quality Siding. Later, he worked as a chef for Jerry’s Inn in New Richland. He then owned and operated Food For Thought in the Medford Mall. For many years, Buster was employed in management with Happy Chef Systems, and most recently had been driving for Senske Trucking in Waseca. Buster was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Owatonna. 

He is survived by his sisters Rhonda Jacobson of New Richland and Jody (Clifford) Johnson Jr. of rural New Richland; by his nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; by his three sisters Nelda Sandretzky, Vernita Rae Sandretzky, and Phyllis (Don) Senske.
