Roger passed away suddenly on Friday May 5, 2017 in Wells, MN. He was 72 years old.

Roger Leon Staloch was born on June 27, 1944 to George and Margaret (Lenort) Staloch in Albert Lea, MN. He attended and graduated high school from Freeborn. He joined the United States Army Reserves in 1964 as an Armor Crewman and received honors as a Sharpshooter (Rifle). He completed his duty with an Honorable Discharge in 1970. He was united in marriage to Anita (Anderson) on December 28, 1966 in Minneapolis, MN. Together they had four children. Roger started his family in Wells working on a Hog Farm and later went to work at Herter’s and moved to New Richland where he remained.

He was self-employed most of his life doing different many things. He did construction for a few years but settled in as a Feed Truck driver which he retired from after a 25-year career. Roger was a Jack-of-all-trades and could fix just about anything and he enjoyed doing it. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed fixing up and remodeling his home. He loved watching the Minnesota Twins, Vikings and NCIS. He and his wife Anita enjoyed many camping trips with their children, grandchildren and friends throughout Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa . Although he liked doing many things, work was always the top priority, doing anything he could to provide for his family.

He is preceded in death by both parents; his wife, Anita; and a brother, David Staloch.

Surviving members of his family include his children, Matt (Tammi) Staloch of Hartland, Lisa Campbell of Boone, IA, Deanna Haggerty (Preston Brogaard) of Clarks Grove and Chad (Ronda) Staloch of Hartland; grandchildren, Aaron (April and Annabelle) Haggerty, Jacob Staloch, Morgan (Karl) Winnekins, Elise Campbell, Cole Staloch, Marcus Campbell, Nicklas Staloch, Samantha Campbell and Seth Staloch; siblings, Leona Yokiel, Doris (Leon) Glazier, Alice (Les) Peterson, and Linda (Norbert) Sonnek; a brother-in-law, Evan (Michelle) Anderson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

Blessed be his memory.
