Pauline Esther (Wiggins) Calhoun Anderson, age 87 of Waseca, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.

She was born to Rev. Roy and Isabelle (Shipley) Wiggins on August 20, 1923 in Holden, South Dakota.  On June 7, 1943 she married Floyd “Cal” Calhoun.  Floyd passed away on March 17, 1977.  Pauline lived in New Richland until October 20, 1990 when she married Archie Anderson of Waseca.

Pauline worked at Brown Printing Co. in Waseca for many years.  She was a member of Vista Covenant Church where she was very active teaching Sunday School, Deacon board, VBS, women’s ministry, and she especially loved singing in the choir.  Her family was very important to her and she looked forward to every and all family gatherings.  She also spent her time reading and was always ready to go for a ride.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Archie and her children, Paula (Jim) Hansen of New Richland, Patrica (Don) Haarstad of Chaska, Orin “Kelly” (Pam) Calhoun of Albert Lea, and Pam (Robert) Coyer of New Richland; nine grandchildren, Kristine (John) Stewart, Shelley (Ryan) Anderson, Philip (Laura) Haarstad, Paul (Terri) Haarstad, Heidi (Ching) Hung, Beth Swenson, Polly Calhoun, Tom (Suzy) Coyer, and Tim (Bonnie) Coyer; and 16  great grandchilren.  She is also survived by Archie’s children, Jeanne (Randy) Mewes of Colgate, ND, Steve (Chris) Anderson of Arden Hills, Doug (Pandy) Anderson of Belle Plain, and Dick (Catherine) Anderson of Chanhassen; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one sister, Marjorie Rose of Richmond, IL and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to Floyd, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. and continue on Thursday, one hour before services at the church. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Vista Covenant Church in rural New Richland.  Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, Iowa.
