Farm & City Days meeting January 29

The New Richland Farm and City Days Committee will meet Wednesday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m. at New Richland City Hall.  Anyone with ideas for 2014 Farm and City Days is encouraged to attend.

Ellendale EDA offers low interest loans

Attention Ellendale business owners! Of special interest is information from the Economic Development Authority — Scott Groth, Arlen Brekke, Gary Gorodinier and Ross Sletten. They would like it to be known there is money available for low interest loans for starting a new business or improving existing businesses in Ellendale. It is hoped that interested parties will inquire and receive information from any of the afore mentioned board members.

Open house Jan. 28 on Hwy. 14 project

The public is invited to learn more about the Highway 14 expansion project in Owatonna funded through the state Corridors of Commerce program at a an open house on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The open house is scheduled from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s office in Owatonna, 1010 21st Ave. N.W. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions and provide information about the project, which is scheduled for construction in late summer 2014.
