It’s time for another running of the words column. You figure out the fact or fiction of the words.

Sticky buns in Minnesota are what you get when you sit on something sticky. In North Carolina sticky buns are an edible pastry bun.

If you feel a headache coming on, brew a quick cup of coffee. In many prescription and over-the-counter medications, caffeine is the helpful ingredient. What do you suppose is the main ingredient in a cuppa java?

Yes, Hubby it is a healthy household duty to wash dishes by hand. Your lady of the kitchen will appreciate the help – just don’t break any. Of what benefit does the medical profession say you will gain? By putting your hands in warm water, you relax your muscles and joints and ease stiffness. (I am our household dishwasher.)

When you’re feeling down in the dumps a quick fix can be a hug from a loved one. Scientists have found that hugging releases oxytocin, the feel good hormone while also decreasing levels of the stress hormone cortisol. There are a number of family last names that are well recognized across the USA as being of great character. In many cases the last name is well known in NRHEG land. One such last name was mentioned on the weather channel daily the last few days of April. (Due to heavy flooding.)

Do you know the last name? Hint, it is the same as where an airplane crash-landed in their back yard by Beaver Lake. Another hint, a creek in flooding North Carolina has the same name. Last hint, Cynthia married into the family.

Notice the picture of Mom, Donnavon, and daughter Rachael together. Yes, the hair-do and the identical smile has been passed on to Rachael along with winning champion awards.

In a recent survey of NRHEG land Lutheran Churches: Pontoppidan was the hardest to pronounce. Pawntopidown was the most often spelled wrong. Hope was the most appropriately named. LeSueur River could be seen from the greatest distance.

They all had one thing in common — their boss is a Jewish carpenter.
